Wisconsin winters don't schedule themselves around your morning. We run our routes overnight and through the storm so the driveway is open when you back out of the garage, not three hours later.
Seasonal customers are cleared first, every event. If you'd rather pay per storm, we do that too. You'll just fall in behind the seasonal contracts.
What's included
- Driveways, sidewalks and front walks
- Commercial lots, entrances and fire lanes
- Salting and de-icing on request or automatically
- Trigger depth set with you, typically 2″
- Ice-event callouts, day or night
- Photo confirmation on commercial accounts
What it costs
- Residential driveway, per visit
- $55–$95 depending on size and depth
- Seasonal contract, residential
- Flat rate for the whole winter, ask for your property's number
- Salting
- $35–$65 per application
- Commercial lots
- Quoted per property, per event or seasonal
Every driveway is different. We'll look at yours before quoting, and the number we give you is the number you pay.
Questions
Common questions
When do you come out?
We start clearing once accumulation hits the trigger depth we agreed on, usually 2 inches. During a long storm we may run the route more than once. Seasonal contract customers are always first.
Do you shovel walks and steps, or only plow?
Both. Walks, steps and the path to the door are part of a normal residential visit. We're not going to plow the drive and leave you climbing a snowbank.
Is salt included?
It's priced separately so you're not paying for it when you don't need it. You can also set it to automatic and we'll salt whenever conditions call for it.
Do you take commercial accounts?
Yes, and they're a big part of what we do: small commercial lots, multi-unit buildings and businesses that need to be open at 7am. We can send timestamped photos after each event for your records.
Should I sign a seasonal contract or pay per storm?
Seasonal is usually the better deal in a heavy winter and it guarantees you a spot on the route. Per-visit makes sense for lighter properties, but during a big storm you'll wait behind the contracts.
